Though I am blessed that Ive witness the glorious moment of the Bedan community and the Red Lions last season 82, I hope I can watch those San Beda-Ateneo games even for one time, just to know how really fierce their rivalry was. And Compare it to the ADMU-DLSU rivalry now.

i still remember the bonfire at the former junior football field . . . we (the Preps and Grade 1 and 2 pupils who were waiting for our school bus) were made to wear cardboard Indian headgears and were egged on to dance around the fire....ang saya non!

Its much different before during the time of 1977-78 super spoilers. It was a 1 week no classes and everyday activity in the campus. Its like Euphoria and come to think of it that the RL was the underdogs at that time with no superstars except for 1 or 2.The feeling of ADMU vs SBC was very intense and I think more exciting than now, its so happen that there is so much media hype today & I think in fairness during the late 80's & 90's, if we had a nice college basketball program at that timewe should be there always in the top 3. But now, really they will be having a hard time beating the RL.Go San Beda Fight!

If you are interested to know more about San Beda, the Red Lions and our Native American inspiration, do visit this site. I find it very informative.
